Why me?
I have been living in Sai Gon for more than 2 decades and I am proud to say that I am a real and original Saigonese. I offer a total tailored trip exploring the unconventional experiences of this city just for you. However if you want to visit the popular tourist attractions, we can make that happen, too. Just leave me a message.
Cho Lon and Chinatown
Pho, Pan Cake (Banh Xeo) or Bun cha, ... are perhaps too mainstream to travelers. They can be found almost everywhere, from the most luxurious restaurants in city central to any tiny corners and alleys. So don’t worry! They won't appear in my suggestions below, because you can try them easily whenever you want. Instead, I'll be showing you something less common.
Drink Coffee and enjoy SaiGon sightseeing
Surely, we must try Vietnamese coffee, but not between the boring brick-walls in the coffeeshops. We will enjoy coffee by Saigon river bank. I will take you along the river by my motorbike so you can enjoy the beautiful view of the city. After that we will stop at an outdoor coffee shop by the river bank, away from the noise and dust of city. It’s like a subtle, relaxing little adventure to get away from the crowded streets. You will see a differently quiet Saigon.
Following the travel guide book is fine. But you surely want to discover Saigon on your own terms, right? It's more fun because each city has its own legends and lifestyle, which no one knows better than the locals. Books tell you the famous stories, travel buddies will show you the hidden gems.

For any request you have for curating a personal tour in Saigon, I insist you use Pham and his friends. I mistakenly booked the wrong day and was embarrassed. No problem, Pham said. In less than an hour, he reorganized the entire tour, reached out to his friends and arranged for the same tour on incredibly short notice. He and his friends personally pick you up on motorbikes and take you to local spots you never would have discovered on your own. I loved the convenience of not spending hours researching Trip Advisor. Pham made it simple. I said I wanted two hours of the best authentic street food in the city. He made it happen. For a very affordable price. They were very nice locals, too. They became genuine friends of mine during my stay. Probably the best part of my trip. Thanks so much to Pham, and please, any readers, you really should message him to arrange your own tour to your specific requests.

One of my most enjoyable and rewarding experiences during a recent five night trip to Saigon Vietnam, was my night out motorbiking the city with Lam and Mai from xpath.co Xpath is a travel buddy site that for a small fee connects visitors to the city with local people for an authentic Vietnamese travel experience. After meeting up at the steps of Notre Dame Cathedral Saigon, we lay out a trail of street food, markets, city sites and sounds, tasty delights in Turtle Park, beers at a club in the walking street, before ending the evening watching the city lights from a bridge over the Saigon River. Xpath were wonderfull and easy to connect with, the company was delightful and my last night in Vietnam was made so much richer for the experience they were able to share with me. I couldn't recommend xpath more highly and will use their services again on my next trip back. Christopher Paul Blackney

This is fantastic. Minh is humorous and gentle. This was my first time of sitting on a bike so I was scared at first. However I felt safe and interesting soon. We ate and talked a lot. I also enjoyed Vietnamese street food and drinking coffee. Thanks again, Minh, for everything.
